I see I’m not the only one complaining about Guthrie Corning ER visits. This place is a joke. At least 6 hours of your time per visit. Back and forth from waiting room. 3 hours in they might get you in for the CT scan . That takes 1-1/2 hours to get read. Now maybe blood work. That’s another 1 hour wait. Sit in waiting room so they can get a bed in order to give pain medicine. Can’t believe there a level 3 hospital if it takes this long in the ER. Someone greased someone. They complain about not being paid very for a visit .... read more

Nursing Staff is super. I went to hospital by ambulance on 9/11. Had numbness almost in entire body. I was treated respect and care by Nursing staff. I can't give a 4 rating because when i told the doctor my symptoms, he acted like i was lying. I mean what the Heck! My symptoms did'nt anything seem to match with his thoughts. Well people rarely have all the same symptoms as previous patients. xrays, blood work and the whole 9 yards. AS A PATIENT AT THE HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM FOR 24HOURS. IT WAS THE FILTHIEST ROOM I HAVE BEEN IN IN A LONG TIME. TRASH CAN WAS NOT EMPTIED AND OVERFOWING ONTO THE FLOOR, MEDICAL PACKAGING WS THROWN ON THE FLOOR AND THE ROOM HADN'T SWEPPT WHO WHO KNOWS HOW LONG MY COMPLAINT TO HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR AND A MEMBER OF THE ADMINISTRATION TEAM OF THE HOSPITAL FELL ON DEAF EARS AND THE ROOM WASN'T CLEANED AT THE TIME OF MY TRANSFER TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL.

I entered Corning Hospital on July 2nd, 2021 very ill with high temperature, chills, muscle pain and contractions. When I was asked what I did differently in the past few days, I answered that I'd stopped drinking wine because I didn't feel well. The ER doctors then decided I has alcohol withdrawal and that diagnosis is still on my medical record as an illness! I stayed inpatient for four days very ill.
