I was in the market for a new mountain bike this year. After riding a couple of demo bikes I decided on a Pivot. Guthrie had a Trail 429 in my size that I loved so I went with that one and i absolutely LOVE it! Jeff was great to work with! We talked to him a couple times before buying and he never pressured me into one bike or another. He also gave me a great deal and switched out the stem and adjusted the shocks so the bike was ready to take on the trails. I've made Guthrie Bycycle in Bountiful my go-to local bike shop. They've been so good to us for the past 4-5 years while my daughter has been on the high school team. Almost every time I go there, I see the owner, Jeff Goddard, busy working and helping customers, like me. Just this last weekend, I stopped by for a wheel issue, and he offered to get it done while I wait, since it would only take 10 minutes. He was great and the extra effort was truly appprecied!
