I dropped off a wheel to have a spoke replaced. The employee said it would be two days to have it completed. I received a message about 5 hours later saying the repair was finished. This is the second time Guthries has under promised and over delivered with my repair needs. It’s also why I keep returning to the shop.
I took my son’s bike in to have a new back tire installed and the brakes adjusted. The team was incredibly kind and got me in the same day, allowing me to drop the bike off right away. They finished the work quickly, but I wasn’t able to pick it up for a couple of days, no problem at all. They also helped fix a couple of tires on our little bike trailer, which was a great. Super helpful fitting the bike to my body and preference.
I was in the market for a new mountain bike this year. After riding a couple of demo bikes I decided on a Pivot. Guthrie had a Trail 429 in my size that I loved so I went with that one and i absolutely LOVE it! Jeff was great to work with! We talked to him a couple times before buying and he never pressured me into one bike or another. He also gave me a great deal and switched out the stem and adjusted the shocks so the bike was ready to take on the trails.
