RecommendedWe went here for Mother's Day. I cannot rave enough about the freshness of the food. For appetizers we had bruscetta and calamari. Both were fabuloso. Our entrees were also excellent. Our waiter Michael was very knowledgeable and Vincent, the owner and chef, was so personable. I can't wait to go back! Don't miss this gem if you are looking for authentic Italian food.

My husband and I tried take-out from Gusto Cucina Italiana tonight (I know they have a small space and we have a toddler - sometimes take-out is easier) We tried the Pappardelle Alla Bolognese and the Penne Borgetto. The Pappardelle was fresh pasta, homemade with a delicious meat sauce. The Penne was topped with meat sauce, mushrooms, peas and a tomato cream sauce. It was an incredible dish. Went on a Friday night... right after a great review was in the paper, rightfully busy, but only a 15 minute wait. So worth that tiny wait. Light and delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for family owned italian restaurant, the chef is the owner with his lovely wife who recognized me after a brief meeting a few weeks prior. I was all around impressed. And the food is melt in your mouth, not heavy or too rich, just perfect!

RecommendedJust had the linguini pescatore.....was delicious.....The food was fresh and the service was wonderful....Chef very friendly as is the rest of his family....This Italian lady had finally found a real Italian restaurant in Cape Coral..... RecommendedFood was beyond amazing . It real deal Italian food. Better then Olive Garden. Very small restaurant but the food was sooooooo good!!
Wife and I were there for dinner. She had Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo and I had Chicken Marsala. Both were " okay" but not good enough to make us return. The Marsala lacked " something" namely flavor. Each mouthful was disappointing and the Marsala sauce was runny and weak. The Alfredo sauce suffered similarly. It was thin and watery, like they used water instead of cream. I don't know what they are trying to create..perhaps an " upscale atmosphere" but flavorless dishes won't help them get there......neither will white pap... read more
