History Established in 1965. Gus balon and his wife broke ground on gusbalonsrestaurant in 1963. They worked hard and opened on November 15 1965. Guss daughters ran the business for many years. Now guss granddaughter Kelli runs it. Three generations!

This is the absolutely BEST breakfast./lunch restaurant ever! We're only snowbirds, but when we're in Tucson, Jim and I are there. You just can't find homemade food like this anymore. And the service is fabulous -- and fun.
Amazing! First visit today. Super friendly, clean, fast, inexpensive and yumny! No matter what time of day, the cinnamon roll is a must!

Just went in for a Valentines Breakfast and got ignored...not one word from anyone. I guess I will take my money elsewhere..they obviously don't need it.
Best place in Tucson for breakfast. The food is great and so is the service.
Loved the food but the staff was just as warm and inviting as the luscious cinnamon roll!
We have been coming here since the 1980.
