Showers have black mold in them. You tell the staff and they do LITTLE TO NOTHING. They look you in the eye and lie to you. I have been a YMCA member for 25 years and I am terribly disappointed and disgusted.
Your pool area is a mess. Every lifeguard has a different set of rules. It would be nice if your pool changes were posted somewhere so parents can correctly provide rules to their kids.
I am really disappointed. We have been members for almost a year. We joined so my grandson could take swimming lessons and so I could walk/work out in the pool. This is all I can do. The Chlorine smell is so strong I cant use the facility most days hard to breathe and triggers asthmatic issues. Totally bleached the color from 2 expensive suits. I keep thinking it will get better. I love it here!!! HOWEVER tonight I needed to pay for my monthly membership and there were 3 young guys working the front and they were goofing off, ignoring me and carrying on their own conversations while I was waiting while one checked the computer. That part is very disappointing! (I am new to the Y and was never told how the payment process worked)
Great for YMCA GYM be good muscle and swimming pool I love it :-)
Myself and my son went today, we had an awesome back workout. The facility was clean and nicely kept, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the equipment was readily accessible.
