Well here is a perfect of a newer donuts shop’s that do make really good donuts from scratch and have GF donuts for those that are sensitive to this condition. The big down fall are young people that have no idea about giving a great service to the customers. They are always on their phone that is in poor taste and very unprofessional. They normally understaffed which leans back to the younger generation having no idea how to be a good server. Hope they survive.
I LOVE THE DONUTS. Big however, though, they don’t make enough pretty consistently- meaning they run out before noon, or even before 10 on a holiday. They are consistently short staffed which means they won’t do avocado toast. This was a great brand and it’s seemingly not operating well.
Visited this morning and although the donuts were delicious the service was severely lacking, the young man working told us he wasn’t doing any food at the time because he was the only one working, that would be understandable if it were busy but it was not we were the only customers there, he checked us out then proceeded to sit on his phone for the next 20 minutes. I’m not sure why food would be offered on the menu if it wasn’t actually available.
The Guru donuts sold at the Boise Co-op are AMAZING...I was really excited to check out their store location. Sadly, my experience here was terrible, and even with a second visit it proved to be the same. The staff both times were on phones when I walked in, when I had a question about a donut they said they "had no idea" and after I paid there was no "thank you" or even a goodbye when I walked out.
