The food was wonderful. The waitstaff was terrific. The margaritas were fun.
I have been dining at Gurkhas for over 6 years, and I have always been satisfied. The lunch buffet is terrific and has gotten even better with the addition of more dessert options. The sabji masala and chiken tikka masala are my personal dinner favorites. The restaurant staff knows me by name and has always been friendly and attentive. This is my favorite restaurant in Boulder!
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had west of London. I've been three or four times since moving here in May and every time was great. If you want something special or different, like a veggie combo dinner, all you need do is ask. At lunch they have a wonderful buffet, which was a real surprise.
If you like Nepalese food, don't miss out on this place. Head chef noticed I didn't eat much of my Thukpa (delicious, but was a bit too spicy for me). He personally made me a milder Thukpa for me to take home. Also, their Gurkhas beer is not to be missed!
The manager of this place is sooo nice and welcoming. He treated my boyfriend and I with such respect and generosity. I had the saag paneer and it was delicious! I would definitely eat there again and I love supporting the kind people who work there!
They are the best place to eat out in Gunbarrel. Everybody is always friendly and welcoming.
My wife and I love Gurkhas! We have dinner or order for pick-up twice a month on average. Their House Microbrew is excellent, delicious Samosa Chat, and don't miss the Chicken Tika Masala with a cup of Chai for desert. Great folks and great food.
Just a comment on how to improve an already superb experience. We eat there all the time.
We order take out from Gurkhas a lot and their garlic naan and Korma anything are pretty awesome. Great to have this little indian/nepalese gem in Gunbarrel.
