Every element you notice in this restaurant is innovative, from the food served on rolling carts and trays, to the decor, which has an almost open kitchen and few walls. The name is inspired by the chef's childhood memories of going to gun shows with his father. You can be assured you'll have a wonderful dining experience at the Gunshow.

Have you ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse or a Chinese dim sum? Imagine both but with refined Southern food and if you haven't gone to either.....you're in for a treat. Love! Love! Love! My finace and I had date night here. I already knew that we were in for a treat based on the reviews that raved about Kevin's Gillespie's work. The service is Dim Sum style. You are given a menu with the dishes offered. The menu changes weekly and daily based on the creative juices flowing in the kitchen. It truly does not get any better than this. If you are into dining "experiences", don't miss Gunshow. Kevin Gillespie has hit it out of the park with this concept. On the night we went, we enjoyed several amazing dishes including a bone marrow creme brulee that was sheer and utter perfection in food form. The craft cocktails were the best we've had. The attention to detail in every aspect is simply amazing. I can't say enough about this restaurant except we will definitely be back. I wish I could give this more stars.
If you want a food experience like no other, come here. Chefs bring around their food in a "dim sum" style setting, and you can pick and choose what you want to order. They also have a cocktail cart, where they can make a cocktail for you tableside. We enjoyed ourselves when we came here for Valentine's Day a couple of years ago. Word to the wise: come here with friends so you can share plates...that seems to be the way to not have a hefty bill (like we did!) at the end.
By far the best meal I have ever had in this city - but be warned - you have to be an adventurous eater to truly appreciate your meal!! Thank you Kevin Gillespie for such an awesome concept for a restaurant!!! It's dim sum meets Top Chef!!!
