Worst hospital in the country. Misdiagnosed patients, near death instances from incompetent doctors, can not read imaging properly, can’t diagnose anything correctly. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, HEALTH, and PERSONAL SAFETY THEN TRAVEL TO SALIDA OR MONTROSE FOR CARE
Just received my $1600 bill a year after my visit. I had a knee injury in Crested Butte and called to make sure they could do an MRI. I was told on the phone it was not an issue and I could get it done. Drove 45 min there, told the intake as well I was there cause I needed to get an MRI, same thing not an issue. After checking me in the doctor did an xray, which I said was not needed, after which I was told they do not do MRIs without a referral. What's traveling from New Mexico to Oregon solo. Started to get back pain and couldn't apply medicine by myself. I walked into the ER and they were able to assist me very quickly. They we're kind and efficient. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Thank you!
While I have received good care but some of the physicians and nurses at this hospital, this review is NOT about them. This review is regarding the financial mismanagement, and ineptitude of the billing department to work with insurance companies and to properly do their job.
