Best dentist in Boulder. No frills, just downright good, caring, thorough and excellent dentistry, from the receptionist to the techs to the dentist himself. I live out of state now, but I fly back to Colorado to Gunbarrel Family Dentist to see Dr. J and team. They are so caring, when I was slow to make an appointment, they stayed an hour late to fit me in. This is one dedicated, smart, and FUN (yes, a dentist can be fun!) team. Amy is AMAZING!!!!!! She made me feel so comfortable after years of not being to a dentist and worked with me and even took time out of her own days off to help me. She’s really made my experience back at the dentist wonderful.
I have had 15+ years of dental anxiety and this is the first place that I have gone that has made me feel like they really care about my health and well being. They personalized my care and I could not have had a better experience. From the front staff, the assistants, hygienists, and the doctor they all have great warm and welcoming presences. I could not recommend this practice more highly.
I was recently traveling in France when I developed a severe toothache. I so appreciated his quick response to my call, seeking advice. He kept in touch via text until I was able to be seen by a dentist in France. I might have cut short our trip had it not been for his gentle and generous long-distance encouragement. He has been my dentist for a decade. He has my loyalty.
