For almost 30 years now we've called Sunnyvale home, serving up traditional Italian dishes all made from scratch right here in house. We love seeing the look of delight on our guests faces when they take that first bite, and it's hard not to smile when you're enjoying some gumbalicious pasta or a slice of hot, fresh pizza. Great Italian Fare for Families Gumba's offers a friendly staff and satisfying meals. This is a great place for families--plenty of seating and a casual atmosphere. The portions are large--enough to take home. Normally not too busy except on farmer's market days (Sat.)
Good deal on lunch This place has good choices for veggies. Some of their specials are also veggie. Give nice warm bread with any entree. The ambience is ok, looks way too crowded.
Great deal on good italian food Gumbas restaurant is a great place to bring your date or your family. The pesto pizza is good. The wait isn't so long, and the atmosphere is homey. You get ice cream at the end of each meal, even if you didnt ask.

Wasn't that great for lunch Cramped, uncomfortable booths. The food was uninspired (Fettuchini Bolonese) and the meatballs were raw inside. Salad dressing was oily and tasted bland.
