A great restaurant, I think the food is great but not my style. But the service, drinks and people working there is great!
I came to Portland for work and, by complete chance, met a man at a coffee shop who told me about his father, who had recently passed away. His father was Italian, “Italian Italian”, and whenever he visited Portland, they would try different Italian restaurants together. Of all of them, he said Gumba was the closest to the real thing. Damn the braised beef pappardelle is bomb. The artichoke is a little lemony for my taste, but also good.
