I asked for a spine tattoo. It’s about an inch off my spine to the right. When I told him it was not on my spine he said “I wasn’t proportional” ????? What? So he put it in the middle of my back and not on my spine. Very uncool. I wanted a spine tattoo not a back tattoo. The drawing itself was good and he took the idea out of my head and put it to life but completely not pleased with the placement at all. Again very uncool.
RecommendedMike takes seriously the relationship and experience, as well as the art. And he excels at all three plus the collaborative artistic process. I'm a fan. Thanks Mike.

Joel has my vote for the most patient, professional, clean and overall nicest tattoo dude of all time! From Skylar helping set up the appt to Joel working it out, speedy responses, flexible-flawless. And the artwork emblazoned on the walls sets the entire mood for one f@$!ing awesome shop. As someone who is very particular about finding a clean shop with rad Artists I highly recommend coming here!

I stumbled upon Gully Cat Tattoo today, after waking up with a severe itch for a tatt, and visiting/calling over a handful of places. I talked to a few different people about my idea before I got there, and when I talked to SKYLER from GCT, he was the first person to really jump on board with the idea. Mike is amazing! Quality is incredible! Bad ass work!
This had to be one of the worst tattoo shops I've ever been to. My tattoo came out uneven and the ink smudged and looked awful after a few days. I tried to see if there was anything they could do and the owner Mike was extremely rude, downright the worst customer service. I do not recommend this place.
