This place was extremely toxic. The staff was abusive. The other patients were perverted and rude. And people were allowed to come and up as they pleased, which meant that drugs were always being found on the premises. They even make the residents write that reviews but threatening to withhold their meds. I'm so glad that my family got me out of here and good me some real help before it was too late.

I had a good experience, I enjoyed groups and I liked how the staff always helped with understand things that I needed help with. I love all the arts and crafts we did and the one they have for us to do on our free time and another nice thing was when I was sad or going through hard times a staff member always would notice and come and take time to come talk to me and help me feel better and work through my issues. I chose to attend Gull Harbour and I was thoroughly disappointed with the environment and the staff. Environment: Apartments/Offices: very dirty with soiled carpets and mattresses, mismatched and dirty furniture, kitchen cupboards and refrigerators aren't clean either. Food: high carbohydrates, low protein, lots of sodium, must beg every week for fresh and frozen fruit and vegetable varieties and all food is locked up because there is an assumption that Clients will eat Staff food.
