Closed forever due to hurricane Ivan Utnil the legal battles are over this State Park Resort is in fact closed. It was a great place and very reasonable when open. The Family Dinners on the beach were a blast. But don't count on this being open for 2005 or even 2006. Too bad, I kinda liked it there!
Right on the Beach The Hotel is right there on the beach, with porches right in the sand. The rooms are quite good, with beautiful views. Children will love feeding the flocks of seagulls outside in the mornings. Be sure to bring a loaf of bread!
