We love GSP! This was my 2ed camping trip here in the primitive Campground. There was two small alligators and some turtles and we saw one snake that live in the little water way near the primitive Campground area.. But hey it's camping so we enjoyed seeing them! They park staff are truly awesome! They are very busy with campers coming and going all the time and yet are still very professional and welcoming... We've stayed here 2 years in a row and it's been great both times. The camp ground is always clean, the sites are a good size and easily accessible, and all the staff members have been friendly. Our kids love going to the nature center and education building as well. The pool area has always been clean, is large and has plenty of chairs available. There are numerous trails through out the park with plenty of areas to fish. On top of all that it is super close to the beach! Also, camp ground guests get free parking at the Bea... read more

What an awesome place to spend a few relaxing days! The Segway tour of the park was great fun!

This is the best park i ever stayed at been camping my whole life. Clean big sites awsome pool with splash pad the coolest bike trails you can imagine. The only problem was hurricane Nate was coming and we had to leave. Will most diffinitly will return. And a bonus i wasn't expecting was they refunded us money for the nites we couldnt stay.
