Went once, nice decor, brought out the entree right after the appetizer, much to soon...Gumbo was like Campbell's Vegetable Rice soup with a few cocktail shrimp! This was a few years ago, maybe it's better but no returning hear....also had a friend that said she wouldn't return after one visit

First time here, 20 minute wait at noon, but went by fast listening to great music. Food and service was excellent.
If you have EVER been to New Orleans you will not enjoy this place. The only reason they didn't get 1 star was because of the nice watress. The beignets were not rolled/cooked correct so they came out doughy and not light at all. It seems like they added flour to stretch the mix. The red beans and rice were so over cooked I could not longer recognize the rice. My fiancé had the crab cakes. The pieces of crab were shredded and full of filler. Our family ate at the Edwardsville, IL. location and was disappointed. My kids and hubby ordered the filet medallions which were over-charred and over cooked. I then looked over to see the hostess standing on a table to put food in the fish tank, which wasn't a big deal, until I saw that she never bothered to wipe down the table after standing on it. When we got our bill, I noticed the tacky "tipping recommendation" printed at the bottom of the receipt. Disappointing experience.
Our server was excellent the food was amazing! Didn't mind the wait because we knew we were in for an experience!
