RecommendedCrab legs was excellent and the shrimps was 🔥
Visited gulf shores on 6/13/2019. It started rough and got worse. Got there around 830. Our waitress was rude. She never did tell us her name but she was a white woman with short hair on the sides. She rushed us when we was ordering. When the food arrived it was all over cooked. I sent my plate back but my guest kept their plate, not wanting to complain but complained to me that the crab legs were over cooked. When my new plate came it looked great til I took a bite. Great food great atmosphere
I really wanted to like this place, I will say it has a certain charm about it but they charge the same price as costal locations with far better food. My Tilapia was very dry and the grits were very runny and would be surprised if they weren’t instant grits. The house salad was good and the server was friendly. I didn’t dislike this place specifically, but an endorsement to recommend is too far of a stretch.

This is THE BEST place around! EVERYTHING is to die for!! The specials will knock your socks off, the clam chowder is indescribably flavorful ( the best I’ve had and I’m from San Francisco), the desserts are fabulous. Get there early as it is ALWAYS busy and they don’t take same day reservations. Definitely worth ANY wait!
The crab cakes are real, the fried shrimp are large and delicious, the scallops are tender and sweet, and the sauteed spinach was the best I've ever had. And the music tonight was just right. It's always excellent.
Ordered Coconut Shrimp and it was burnt, the Caesar Salad was drenched in dressing and inedible. Server said "wish I could do something"...second bad food experience. Will not return although the Crab Legs are good.
