Fantastic store. My boys love going there, and my oldest loves asking Gary for help finding a book. Instead of asking to go to the bookstore, he asks to "go see Gary."
Have always loved this place and their homey atmosphere. Almost invariably find exactly what I want, or didn't know I wanted. :)

Fabulous independent bookstore with knowledgeable owners, in business for over thirty years. Gary and Beth are very supportive of Maine authors/poets too. No visit to Brunswick and Bowdoin College would be complete without shopping at Gulf of Maine Books. Check it out!
