I have been donating platelets and whole blood at this center for years - the staff is excellent! Each staff member is happy to help you in any way you may want or need. Martha was my screener and phlebotomist and made me feel very comfortable, gave me after donation instructions, plus Hannah had no problem when Martha needed to step away for a moment. RecommendedSoo...I donated platelets yesterday for the first time. It was a new experience for me. It’s different than donating whole blood, and I’ll attempt to explain what I learned yesterday, since I do try to learn something new every day. When I walked in to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center - Cy-Fair Neighborhood... yesterday, I was planning to give whole blood as I had done in the past. The staff are always very nice and welcoming. I am a tough case with my deep veins and they always take care of me.
I went yesterday as a first time donor and I was very apprehensive due to my dislike of needles. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and put me at ease immediately. I highly recommend this location and will return to donate again and show them how brave I am now!

I went to this location to donate for my second time. I had an excellent experience, the staff is really kind and friendly! I had a bad experience the first time I donated in another place, I got really sick and passed out about three times after donating so I was really nervios. But, this time it was totally different they gave me some fluids in return of my donation, so I did not feel bad at all. In return of my blood I also got some good cookies.
