Owning a property locally, I really didn't see the value in hiring a property manager. That is until my tenant stopped paying rent and answering my calls. Not only do these people understand their business, they actually appear to care. I rarely post reviews but I was so blown away by the service I received in comparison to what I encounter in usual business dealing I needed to comment. I am a photographer and have been working with Gulf Coast for about a year. In my experience it is rare that rental companies invest in professional photos but judging by how quickly Gulf Coast are renting properties it seems to be paying off for them. Whether it be the Accounting Dept, property managers or leasing agents my experience has been positive and it is clear that this company cares about the quality of service they provide. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
We placed our first property with Gulf Coast approx 4 years ago. They are professional, ethical and easy to deal with. We have since placed other properties with them and with our referral 3 friends are now clients. We have experience dealing with tenants and it can be difficult. Since going with Andy's company there is a rewarding comfort level in not having to deal directly with tenant related issues. Their service to rental property owners is sub-par. Our properties suffered quite a bit of neglect under their management, and we had 2 long term renters break their leases. Promised regular inspections were not done. Poor communication re: almost all aspects of their responsibilities. Talked a good game, but once we contracted with them we were extremely unsatisfied. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!! I sent them a deposit ($789) to rent a home but upon prior inspection discovered video cameras INSIDE the house. As I do not like my privacy invaded I cancelled and requested a refund. Even tho they offered to remove the cameras, at least the ones I had spotted, how can you trust a company that thinks it okay to rent to folks without disclosing that there are cameras INSIDE the home?
