Have been a patient since early '80s. Have always gotten excellent service need is extremely competent. Recently retired which is a shame because we just lost one of the best in the area. He was loved by all and quality of his work was a standard for others. Epitome of excellence.
I have been visiting Dr. Hurvitz for over 17 years traveling from Tampa, FL ( 70 miles each way) He is an expert in the area of Glaucoma. He takes care of his patients very well. He explains things in detail. Thanks to his staff who are very courteous.
For the third time at this practice, my 92 year old mother was left waiting in an exam room for over 90 minutes. This time, I was with her and it was an hour and 40 minutes before the Doctor came in to see her. When I said it was a little disrespectful to leave patients--particularly 92 year old patients--just sitting in a room waiting for over 90 minutes, the doctor got very exercised, jumped up and said it that is how we felt, we could leave. I am very fortunate to have been recommended to Dr. Hurvitz by my wonderful doctor, Dr. Niffeneggar. Dr. Hurvitz is greatly admired by another of my doctors who says Dr. Hurvitz is one of only a few doctors that has the experience to treat glaucome with the special needed care. Dr. Hurvitz deeply cares about how his staff treats patients and how patients react to treatment. From my experience, I appreciate his care.

They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. The restrooms at this office were spotless. It smelled amazing in there and looked immaculate.
