I am working here just little bit more than 1 month and I can honestly say it's the best place I have ever worked! I never feel like it's hard work because I love my job and my co workers as well as management staff. From the Rehab manager, to my co workers, as well as nursing staff I love them! Excellent team work, communication as well as best patient care every day basis. I'm a proud to be a employee of GHCC!

I think that there are a few choice people employed here that are genuinely here to help the residents. The others are just here for the paycheck.. and if you make a bad review, you get blocked from posting again. Simple requests seem to be to difficult.. especially for weekend workers. And by simple, I mean like, please don't put open bottles of personal care items in the drawer so they spill over candy or gum that was brought for her. My Mother was at Guilford Health Care Center for 4 weeks. I could not have been more pleased with the care she received. From the minute we walked in the door, the entire staff was helpful, nice, accommodating and professional. She was well taken care of. The Nursing staff on her wing (100) made sure she was safe and recovering as needed. The Rehab staff was great, in particular Jack, who worked with her to regain her strength and walk. Great Place To Work!!!....I am in the Environmental Service Department and Proud To Be An Employee Of GHCC.
I stayed here about three weeks and can say the staff is very patient friendly and courteous. I stayed in there about three weeks for physical therapy. From the CNAs, nurses, physical therapists and the office staff I have the deepest respect and gratitude.
I have been working here since June and I can honestly say it's the best place I have ever worked! I never feel like it's hard work because I love my job and my workers and management team. From the charge nurses, to my unit manager, to my director of nursing I love them! They always remind us that we are appreciated ! The residents there just mind me everyday of why I love helping people. I'm a proud employee of GHCC
It's getting better but I didn't like how long it took to get proper wheelchair leg support for my 98 yr old mother.and I think it's wrong that they are billing medicare for physical therapy and she has never gotten any! This place is getting worse in my opinion mom is now 99 years old and can't walk as said she finally got the proper support for her legs n feet but they don't put her in it properly and this allows her to slide down and out of the chair . How many of the comments were written by residents or their families? My guess is very few if any! I will say that they do have several excellent people a few good ones and the balance not so good. Now the employees could be good to excellent excellent if they had a management team that cared about Patient Care rather than the bottom line. I do not recommend that anyone come here or put a family member at this facility. 1/2 a star rating.
