Since they were purchased by Guilford, these apartments have been nicely renovated with new furnishings and are better managed than the previous apartment company.

The worst experience with an apartment ever, has been with Hodgins Retreat Apartments. To list only a few of the huge amount of issues I have with the company, I will start with the lack of providing basic necessities. My shower at hodgins retreat apartments drizzled. I lived in Hodgins Retreat for a year, which is now owned by Legacy and the staff is horrible. I don't know if it's because they only really care about their Legacy residents or what, but I've had many problems. First my rent went from what should have been $400 to $411 for who knows why. Then when my roommate moved out with her pet she talked to the staff who agreed after she paid May's rent we wouldn't have to pay the pet fee anymore because the animal would be out. Moved in with carpet stains in every room, and a closet door falling off the hinge. Management was too busy to ever come do a walk-thru. Loud parties every weekend, and I have been awakened from many naps by loud music of neighbors. My roommates car window was busted and her car was keyed. My car window was busted.
