I travel from Southington to Guilford to bring my golden retriever to see Dr. Janicki because having a veterinarian I trust is so important. Everyone working here is amazing. Dr. Janicki listens to all of my concerns (no matter how small) and spends the time necessary to treat my girl. When my sister’s dog became sick and her vet wasn’t listening I told her to call GAMC. I recently started going to Guilford AMC with my two dogs. We felt like the previous vet just wasn’t meeting out needs anymore. My friend, Paula, works here, so I gave them a call. We’ve been very happy with the switch! Everyone is very nice and we’ve always been able to be seen in a timely manner. Top notch care!

Guilford Animal Center is a very loving and caring facility. The staff here are the best! We bring Dash and Bowzer here all the way from West Haven. I recommend them very highly.
I just had the most unprofessional, disturbing encounter at Guilford Animal Medical Center. We have been taking our 8 month old springer spaniel mix, Beau, here since we got him in March. He was very excited when the technician came out to the car to get him because he had just seen two other dogs come out and get in their cars. He was rambunctious with her and is still in his gnawing phase. The technician got very flustered and exclaimed that she was going to get a muzzle and that she did not have to tolerate this. The doctors, techs and staff are top notch. They are caring, informative and very helpful. They spent so much time and patience answering all questions I had. I recommend this office to everyone!
I brought my cat Aries here today and was extremely impressed with the service I received. All staff was extremely polite and accommodating, especially with the given COVID-19 circumstances. Please remember to be patient as they are doing their best to conduct care for your pets in a safe and contactless fashion! P.S. Aries loves the little toy from her visit!

The employees are top notch- I was able to get my cat in for a medical emergency when our original vet was unable, and every instance since they have treated with utmost urgency and care. I was able to pick up medications after hours and I have always gotten last minute emergency appointments.
