There are so many lesson to learn when it comes to getting an Mortage. Be aware that the rate locked in is the rate you are getting in the end. I was told my rate locked in after my credit report is pulled. Then started prepare all sort of paperwork. I spent my appraisal fee and come to realized that was not “TRUE”. Thanks for this lesson. I found that many brokers won’t wanted to explain to you; they just wanted to get you on board first. In the end, you found out is too late to say NO. I had the experience this.
