Do not apply for a Heloc loan with Guild. Please read and save yourself the headache!! Guild uses a third party broker for Heloc loans and the communication was absolutely terrible. I applied for a Heloc 30 days ago. Xavier Velasco was my loan officer through Guild. He was a pretty nice guy, however, I was always the one who had to reach out to him for status updates.
