Let me start by saying that I, like many, have always feared going to a dentist. On top of the apprehension, there is also a fear that some practitioners like to upsell work you may not necessarily need, but because you have good health insurance, they take advantage. Dr Powell was able to see me with an emergency treatment for a wisdom tooth impaction that was unbearably painful. His assistant, Regina, was courteous and very understanding of my fears. My mom was a dentist so when I go to one My expectations are very high. I have never met more caring dentists then Dr. Powell and Dr.Mears. Excellent clinicians who don’t try to sell you work you don’t need. I travel from Long Island to them because I trust them.
