I had no idea that "Hospice" is just another competitive industry, with different companies offering "Hospice" services so please be careful before signing all those papers that are shoved at you. Hospice is definitely a big money maker so make no mistake in believing that your loved one's welfare is a priority. RecommendedMy mother in law passed on 10/18/2019, after a long, hard fought battle with stage IV bone cancer. And thanks to the kindest, caring staff of Guiding Light Hospice, her final journey home was peaceful and loving. My family can never thank you enough for the care and support you gave to her and us. The team she had was Andrew M, Veronica D, Deacon Joe A, Chaplain Paul, Sammie, and Meredith. You truly are God’s Angels that walk this earth. Thank you for the wonderful work and care. Great people ,great service
Disappointed on how things were handled with my mom. It took over 4 hours for someone to come check on her the day she was dying. The nurse showed no compassion for my mom or my family. Did not stay there to comfort mom during the process. And took another hour or more to come back after mom’s passing. I did not receive a call from anyone to tell me they were sorry for our loss. I find this to be very cold. Cannot recommend this company. Very disappointed.
