Everyone there was very nice and helpful.
Guidewell was recommended to me by a nurse practitioner at CVS. I was seen promptly for my issue. Very friendly office staff, and I was treated most respectfully and professionally. They have a very state of the art facility and were able to do the necessary lab work onsite. The doctor was very thorough and answered all of my questions and resolved the issue That caused me to go there. I would highly recommend them, and they would indeed be my first choice in the case of an emergent situation.
This company is at the tip of what we should call a medical scam. I visited their location in St. Petersburg. The staff was friendly, but waited for 30 mins in a room before a doctor saw me for about 9 minutes. She subscribed a steroid for water on my ear. Then we waited another 30 mins to get checked out. Total drive out cost $1250 .. I will have to work for a month to pay for the 9 minutes the doctor spent looking in my ear. It's a scam. As a tourist visiting from Canada, in the last 2 years, I have required emergency treatment for 2 very different sporting injuries. Both times I used Guidewell Emergency Doctors. Extremely professional with all the equipment and qualified staff on hand to ensure you receive the best treatment available. Does it cost money, absolutely, but you should have travel insurance for such events (as I did.)
