Editing my review after being employed there and left since. This company is terrible to work for. None of the teachers are actually certified because the "great in house" training isn't accessible. You have to spend hours each week on top of 40+ hours being guilted to take on more because they are always understaffed. They promise you a million different things and then never actually follow through. Leadership is a joke. I have experienced discrimination here for the first time in my life. Do not go here.
We have attended guidepost since it opened early fall 2022. While there has been significant turnover in staff and leadership during that time, we have not regretted our decision to enroll. We have had only one major issue that we advocated for action on and it has since been resolved satisfactorily. Coming from a township pre-k, I noticed the first week of her being at this school I saw a difference in her. 4 months in she’s counting to 100 and before she was only counting to 10 and skipping a few between. They teach independence like changing shoes though the day and learning appropriate clothing to wear outside. Outside is a big thing that I love as well, weather permitted those kids get fresh air more than not through the year. My kids have attended since 2 years old and have loved it. I used to dread drop off at our old daycare. Now our kids look forward to it. Love Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Morgan! They are very kind and patient and keep us up to date on our kids progress.
