It's a Mouthful! – This premier German bakery has the freshest, most delicious pastries and breads in the Triangle. The staff is friendly and hospitable. This is North Carolina's best-kept secret...but perhaps not for long, as work is underway on a full sit-down cafe. Don't be fooled by tasteless so-called "artisan breads" at your local chain grocery store. This is the real thing!
U don't know what bread is... – ..until you've had European-style baked goods. At least that was true for me. Until I traveled to Germany years ago, I had no idea what breads and pastries could be. Guglhupf creates incredible sweet pastries. The danish twist is my favorite, but I also love the interesting combinations of sweet, soft cheeses and fruits (kiwi even)!
