My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Gueverra for about 3 years and are very satisfied with the doctor's practice. She is very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. She takes the time to explain what the issues are and how to treat them. She is very patient with our questions and answers them fully. I had been going regularly to her a couple of years ago, then I put off my care based on my elderly mother’s needs. At that time, she was monitoring me for glaucoma, but as she said back then “all the puzzle pieces have to fit for a concrete glaucoma diagnosis,” but it seemed each time I went the puzzle pieces weren’t fitting. Doctor takes the time needed to explain stuff despite a busy office. Competent and friendly staff.
Dr. Michelle Guevarra is an excellent ophthalmologist with Medical Retina Subspecialty. You can be assured her diagnosis is reliable as she has the latest testing equipment and a professional staff to perform the tests and record the results. She performed cateract surgery on both my eyes and is monitoring my vision for age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma and treating my Sjogren’s Syndrome [sicca/dry eye disease]. I wouldn’t trust my eye care any other doctor.
HORRIFIC! A disgrace to her profession. False diagnoses; devious scheduling of unnecessary visits; rude staff member; opportunistic...ALWAYS get a second opinion! She can be devious, but won't show it until she gains your trust. My opinion is shared with others; especially a patient who never went for a 2nd opinion, and wound up traumatized during surgery.
Yesterday was my first visit. The waiting is a bit much, but she more than makes up for it during the examination. I found her demeanor to be calm and I understood everything she said. She is much better than the doctor I was going to. I will return.

She is thorough. wait is long, but that's because she spends the time with her patients.
