We have been coming to Mayo for years. Never stayed there so we decided to stay there. The carpet was dirty. We had the very last room at the end of the hall on the third floor. My pet peeve is towels and carpet. Towels were so thin you need two to dry off. Right outside our window was a huge light on the building that kept our room lit up. Ive stayed here several times during my cancer treatments because I was never hassled for my service dog like some places have in the past. Thats about the only good thing I have to say for this Inn. When you first arrive the front desk is unmanned with two other customers waiting ahead of me. After about 10 minutes a clerk appeared. First room given to me I walked across the entire hotel to discover it was never cleaned in any way from previous tenant. I had a great experience at Med City Inn & Suites. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was a breeze. Quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed for the trip. I'll be recommending this spot to everyone I know.

Very well mantained older hotel. Most of the staff are very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and well-stocked. The location is convenient, being very close to both Saint Mary's and Mayo Clinic. However, a significant drawback is the potential for long wait times for the return shuttle, especially when attending medical appointments. My recent stay on June 5, 2026, was disappointing. My visit to Med City Inn & Suites was alright. Comfortable enough, but the walls were a bit thin. The stay was fine, though the room felt a little dated. I'd give it another try down the road.
