I have been taking my large breed dog to Guelph Animal Hospital for regular check ups and shots for about 5 years. We recently had a scare and needed to rush her in for an emergency visit because of severe bleeding from her mouth. The staff was very calm and reassuring, took her in immediately and dealt with the issue promptly and professionally. They checked in on her recovery via text over the following 2-3 days.
We always feel our concerns about our Maia ( border collie cross)are heard with kindness and are given full attention by everyone ! It is such a relief to have such a competent and caring medical team to help us give Maia the best health care possible .
Dr. Smolkin is by far the best vet I know of, and we've had many! My pup has stage 2 kidney disease and wasn't supposed to live to be a year. She just turned 5yrs. I know the holistic treatment including acupuncture, B12 shots and Chinese herbals as well as Dr. Smolkin"s expertise and caring nature have given me many more years with my girl. She just had dental surgery and came through with flying colors because of Dr. Smolkin and the many wonderful GAH techs and front counter staff that care for my girl. I simply can't say ... read more
They are an amazing team. I called this morning regarding our Yorky front paw, and they were so nice they squeeze us in for a quick check up before leaving for work. We are Commercial truck driver and our animals are really important to us. Thank you to Dr. Fleming and all the team. You are the best.
