Went there because I was interested in trying Venezuelan food, but unfortunately didn’t have much of a good experience, staff wasn’t very friendly and polite also did not take order correctly, got oder wrong then found almost no meat on my arepa, unfortunately I don’t recommend it in comparison you’ll get better food at chipotle.

The arepas are great, atmosphere is cafeteria or fast food. But fine for a quick lunch. I usually just get takeout. If you get takeout, don't let the arepas sit around too long or they get soggy.

I use to go here all the time and loved it. I’m not sure if the store is under new management, but the last few times we’ve been here haven’t been good at all. The vegetables looked old, the tables were dirty, the sweet tea had a weird taste to it, and the area where you put the trays up had food all over it. Also, the woman making the food walked off in the middle of us ordering for who knows what reason. I’ll stick with the one in Morrisville, it’s cleaner and tastes so much better.

My partner and I were in the area and decided to stop in for a quick bite because this place looked open and inviting. And we were totally right! It was a super-cute, minimalist restaurant. They specialize in arepas – and man, they were good! It was a fun and new spot to eat in the Durham area. The only “issue” I had was that in my Arepa, I got beans, and they made the sandwich fall apart – which is not good eats… But, other than that, we had a good experience, and I would go back!
