This insurance doesn’t care for the people, they say you should wait and go back to your home country to get the treatment you need which is unfair cause how are supposed to wait for a day which is not even coming soon Guard me is really bad I am having the worst experience
Guard.me is a scam! We have OHIP but they are not allowing to refund what we have paid as a family. Never and will never recommend guard.me to families and friends.
TERRIBLE!!! DONT GET THIS INSURANCE. I am trying to get the reimbursement request for my husband and dont resolve it.
My experience with Guard.me Insurance has been extremely frustrating. I was automatically opted in through my school and wasn’t given a chance to opt out, so I figured I might as well try to use the benefits I was paying for. That turned out to be a huge mistake. I’ve been waiting months for a simple reimbursement on my claims. Every time I call, I get the same vague response that they’ll “look into it” or “get it sorted,” but nothing ever actually happens. Worst insurance company. DO NOT BUY THEIR POLICY. They are super picky on wording. I had a cramping problem and they said it’s a pre-existing condition LOL. What about a cold? They said it’s a new emergency situation 👍 they tried to make a difficult for you to claim. Regret to buy the policy to make myself suffer from it. Stupid company.
