Dr Gualtieri. is awesome, he show me that he cared about my situation that i was going through he listen to me he gave me a diagnostic and he took care of it every appointment i went i felt comfortable and i can talk to him like some dr's i can't he's a great Dr so thank you Dr. Gualtier for your time Vivian Williams
I didnt have a good experience with this Neurologist on the 1st visit. He was judging me as soon as he entered the room, there was no need for an evaluation because he had his mind made up. He over talked me the entire time and began to judge me in my presence. I knew before i left his office what the report was going to say because of how he treated me during my appointment. I would not recommend him.
Immediately questioned my pronouns and whether I found them clunky, and was generally very rude. Treated my brother like he wasn’t in the room when his diagnoses were being discussed. Has written two books that essentially boil down to “multiple common neurodivergencies are just children being controlling or people being weird.” Which is a horrifying thing to say as a mental health professional. Extremely condescending and rude. NEVER go to this guy.
Dr. Gualtieri is a frightening man to me. His temperament presented labile overall as I even overheard him yelling at his colleague while I waited in an exam room for him. He is a smart physician, but I have no need to be further traumatized.
I have only seen him twice he seems like he cares about my problem, and wants to help me solve it.
Worst, most insulting doctor I’ve ever met.
Dr. Gualtieri is truly the worse. He was incredibly cruel to us. He kept getting really important information incorrect. He was so unprofessional, throwing out random personal insults. He stormed out in the middle of the appointment and didn’t come back. This man needs to be reported to the medical board. Whatever you do, don’t take a family member to this guy, especially if they are depressed or anxious.
He screened me PTSD, told me that he would do everything in his power to help me, but in his report to the VA he did everything to discredit me, in spite of having a Meritorious Mast describing the combat zone I deployed into, or the explosion I survived during Desert Shield, mine countermeasures during Desert Storm. In spite of being haunted for the last 27 years by men that died to save my life, he reported me as being melodramatic and less than credible. He's set me back years with the VA.
I have recommended Dr. Gualtieri to a friend with a child who was a premi. and suffers from anxiety disorders that they have had little success in treating without evaluating the neurological issues that may be affecting her. Dr. Gualtieri is very well informed and personable.
