Norita Dean I would'nt trade Dr. Guadiz for anything. She knows her medicine. She is a comfort to the child and just as importantly to the parents. Yes it can be a wait sometimes but as the saying goes "Good things come to those who wait". She is the only doctor I will take my 5 children to and I will cry when they are too old to be her patients anymore.
Mom to 4 under 4 who LOVES Dr. G She is an EXCELLENT DR. My 6week old was in Fairview for 2 weeks and she stopped in 1 to 2 times a day and walked me through every step of the way. She is AMAZING! My children love her, they call her Dr. G. When you are in the room with her she does not rush you or disregard your questions. She always takes great care of my children (I have 4 under 4yrs). Awesome! It is difficult to wait, but once you know you may have to wait, it is worth it. She takes all the time she needs to make sure the parents are comfortable with the care the child gets. Once in the exam room, you never feel like she is rushed. She is awesome! I love how she engages the children in their own health education. She makes the experience personal, and follows up with care.
miss Horrible waiting times, not impressed with having to wait with a toddler in a room for an hour then having the dr come in and say she doesn't understand why my child is going wild. Then telling me maybe I should have my child checked for ADHD. I think I should be checked out too because I was running up the walls by then..very rude..am definitely switching pediatricians
Wait is awful but she is great I have to agree the wait at this office is awful, but she is an awesome Dr. When my son was at Fairview Hospital forRotovirus she came in everyday and explained to me step by step what was going on as a first time mom i was obviously scared for my child and she reassured me things would be ok. My 2 year old loves her so as much as the wait is a pain i will continue to take my son to see her
I don't have that much time I have always been very frustrated with the wait times when I take my children to see her. She does not spend that much time with us to make it worth while. It also is very difficult to get someone on the phone. Almost every time I call noone answers, always voice mail. No matter what I take my children in for we always come out with an anti biotic. We are switching pediatricians.
Good doctor, horrible waits My child was born with severe jaundice, and Dr. Gaudiz was wonderful through the entire process. She was knowledgeable and emotionally supportive. For that, I give her great kudos. However, as time went by seeing her, I got fed up with the waits that often topped more than TWO HOURS for a scheduled well baby visit. I also felt that she tended to turn to medication rather quickly, rather than look at alternatives.
Excellent Pediatrician I love this pediatrician. She's knowledgeable and professional, yet personal. There may be a longer than expected wait, even if you have an appointment, which is understandable because you can never gauge how long a physical may take. There are toys and magazines in the waiting area for kids and adults. The wait is worth it - Dr. Guadiz is attentive, answers any questions, makes precise diagnoses and always knows the right medicine to prescribe to soothe pain or treat an illness quickly. This woman walks on water! A FABULOUS pediatrician. Her entire office is extremely helpful, patient, and all around wonderful. She has a way with kids that makes them love her. Her nurses, too. One drawback - she is almost never running on time. Worth the wait, though, in my opinion. When it is your turn, she is never rushed and gives your children the attention you expect.
