I did not purchase a car from GTX auto and it was strictley because of my conversation with the sales manager, John Mitley (might be misspelled). He was extremely rude and condescending when I inquired about information I felt I was being mislead on, by the bank, not the dealership. He held a very unprofessional tone while we spoke over the phone that left me feeling talked down to and ashamed even though I had nothing to be ashamed of. I was told they buy their cars from auction and really do not know anything about them if you ask questions. I paid cash for a 10k car and have had the vehicle for less than 2 months. Took if to a mechanic and was told it needs a catalytic converter which will be about $1500 to replace and install. I still do not have a correct title and my temporary tags expire tomorrow. Shop elsewhere.
Niko is the WORSE person to work with and he is the only financial officer on the lot. He is the extremely condescending and completely unprofessional. I honestly wish I would have walked out and not bought a car there. He yelled at me in his office when I was asking questions and signing the contract. He said "I don't have to sell you this car" and went on to tell me the he gets to decide if he wants to sell me anything since he is the financial officer. GET A WARRANTY! They just buy their cars at auction so don't know anything about them or aren't willing to call out any issues if they do. Sales guy Gary didn't really do anything besides pull it out and let me test drive it. Didn't know the answers to any questions I asked. Nice guy but was 0 help. After i buy a $21k truck home... immediately starting having issues... truck wouldn't even start. Eventually found a wire that was grounding out. GTX Auto Group sold me a VOLVO its in good shape .. EXCEPT 4 lug nuts on the rear came off 1 day after I bought it. I had my grand daughter and daughter in it!! I called Niko.. he stated, his service manager said my car was STOLEN!! There is no way this could happen. You do the math. 1. If my car was stolen there would be a police report. 2.
