Top-notch experience with Jared and his team for our project refinishing a greasy and stained 1950s-era wood floor. Explained all options, was extremely available and professional, and did a great job. I waited 1.5 years to post this review and the floors still look great. They also filled in some areas that were damaged or previously tiled with new hardwood, and it blends in seamlessly.
Apparently the older reviews were from when Jared did the work himself with his partner. That isn't the case these days as you can tell from the more current reviews. Our job was fraught with problems, poor workmanship (and attitude) from one of his new employees, white oak tannin issues they wouldn't admit to and extended delays. Jared did offer to refund our initial payment but I have to say one of his employees did work hard to please us so we left it at half payment (and that's why the second star). Jared, I would like to update my review of the work you did on my hardwood floors 3 years ago. -0. My floors are now even worse then they were when you finished the job. All the areas where the finish was not applied evenly have lightened up even more & they look terrible. You tried to claim the sun caused it, but I don't even get sun on those areas. Ruined my herringbone wood floor. I wouldn't hire gt wood flooring if they were the last company on the Planet. Thanks for nothing Jared. Refused to offer any type of solution or to fix the issue. UNPROFESSIONAL
DO NOT HIRE!!!! I hired gt wood flooring and let me tell you Jared and Jeff are a treat to deal with!!! Jeff smoked in my house while sanding I showed Jared the camera footage and he still refused to pay for my home to be cleaned. There sanding job was worse then before the job was complete UNEVEN!!! BUMPY!!! RIDGES!!! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! i had to have my entire floors redone!!!
