Thors hammer which is enough for 3 or 4 and needs to be ordered I. Advance was amazing, probably best and most tender Sunday roast beef I have ever tasted.... Service was good but I would have preferred it if you kept the service charge off the bill instead of making us feel awkward and requesting it to be taken off ....but that's the only negative feed back I have
Steak was fantastic, one of the better one I’ve had in years, potatoes served cold, had to chase down to get wine. Still would come back but not bother about smashed potatoes or delicious 7 bites of gnocchi in a literal soup of (albeit delicious) of cream sauce
Sunday roast was excellent value for money and paired with amazing service by the front of house team makes this a must go to restaurant!
Overall we had a great time and I would recommend the restaurant, but I do have a few foibles. Pros: - The food is really excellent, basically can't fault it - Lovely ambience and atmosphere - Friendly attentive service Cons: - The bill adds 12.5% service charge then you are prompted to tip heavily on top of this. This is a cheeky/downright predatory practice. Obviously I'm fine paying the service charge, but most places don't have the gall to ask for more on top.
