This review is a bit late; we had a lovely experience at GS salon. My brother and now sister-in-law got married last week in Las Vegas. My first experience at a GS and it was great. The salon is beautiful, clean and the best most comfy hair washing basins I have experienced. I have very long, very thick, polynesian hair that usually takes stylists a good 2 hours to wash, blow dry and straighten. I also had an hour before I had to check out of my hotel room so was obviously feeling pretty confident that morning. Stephanie was my stylist. I had a photo shoot 2 weeks ago. I must thank GS stylist and makeup artist both!! I got a lot of compliments! Julie, I have to say, you are the best, Jeff. I have tried so many salons over the years but have not been happy with the results. It's really the first time that I am very happy with the outcome. Both hair & makeup is a real pro. This is the place for you!! You will NOT find a pickier person with more hair than me, TRUST ME!! And I have nothing but good things to say about GS Blow Dry Bar NYC and the MAGIC that they do every single time. As a mom of a one year old boy, I have a very busy day and I don't have time to do my hair so it usually ends up in a bun. Every once in a while, when I need a break I go to get a "great blow-out" for some alone time. The moment I enter the salon I feel relaxed because of the general ambience and also because everyone is so nice and welcoming. I also get to watch a Runway Fashion Show AND end up with beautiful hair! That is exactly what i need to keep my sanity!
