Gruner for dinner – We arrived at Gruner on Friday night around 7 and expected a busy restaurant and a wait. The hostess invited us in and took my name which she wrote on her list for table seating. She directed us to the bar, where we walked to the end and sat down and ordered a glass of wine to enjoy during our wait. Great Food, Rushed Service – The food, wine, cocktails, atmosphere: all excellent. And you pay for it, which is perfectly acceptable. However, the entire experience felt rushed from start to finish: a lot of pressure to order quickly, food appearing way too fast, dishes disappearing from the table before we'd finished chewing...If a place is geared to foodies, and the ticket's going to top $100 easy, I expect to be able to relax into the evening. 4stars-plus for the food; 1star for the service.

Gruner was pretty good – It has a fun atmosphere and the food was pretty good, but the portions were small.
