I took my Toro Timesaver 4200 to Gruber's in late Summer 2023 to be fully gone through. Purchased there in 2018. It has never cranked properly since servicing. It's not the battery. I will never take my equipment there again.
Absolutely by far the worst place in the world. Pompous, arrogant liars and thief’s. Bought a $3500 ZTR Toro rider 50 days ago. It stopped working. Called them to service it. Guy who claimed he was an “owner” took zero responsibility. Literally said to me “do you think it’s our fault it doesn’t work”!!!! What???? I bought it from you, idiot! Wanted to charge me $200 to come pick it up for service. I have cut the lawn three times with it. He told me if it were 2-3 weeks old (sorry it’s 6 weeks old) that they’d pick... read more
I left my tractor to be repaired. They replaced the gas tank. But, instead of doing it right and removing the frame, they bent my tractor frame and cracked the frame and scraped it to hell. Careless and unprofessional. They damaged my tractor. Don’t trust them.
RecommendedI bought my second piece of John Deere equipment from Grubers yesterday. My wife and I have had an excellent experience with them compared to the big Deere dealers. Greg is great to work with, answers emails promptly and is very knowledgeable about the products he sells. I will not go anywhere else to purchase John Deere equipment!
Had a great experience buying a 42" Toro Zero Turn lawnmower. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and got me into the perfect lawn mower. They delivered very quickly and their prices were the best in town. I would absolutely recommend them. Thanks and I will be back!

Honda HRR2169VKA 1985 Honda mower finally died for good. Loved it! So I went to the local small business, Grubers Power Equipment of Maplewood, MN and purchased a Honda HRR2169VKA with "Smart Drive". The "Smart Drive" is very sensitive and goes from minimum speed to full speed with little movement of the lever. I mowed our lawn 3 times with mower thinking it was me. Very friendly and helpful staff. Service dept is very helpful and always helps out and even offers demo mowers when mine is in their shop.
I get a lot better service when I come in with a man. NOT chick-friendly. But, their service dept is very good. Retail counter not so much.
