I have lived all across America and this is hands down the worst utility company. They try to state their rates which is not accurate - they are 20-30% higher that other cities.

If you are looking for a dissuading factor for a move to Gainesville, GRU should be it. They are expensive, disorganized, in massive amounts of debt, terrible at customer service... Stay outside of GRU's service area if at all possible.
