Growth Spurts poured a concrete patio and driveway for my home and the concrete is already cracking three (3) months after the job. It is cracking in the expansion joints and other areas within the concrete. Growth Spurts did not place rebar in the project as agreed upon to prevent this premature cracking. I have expansion joints that were poured in 1989 that are not cracking .. They offered to reimburse for the rebar once we found out they did not follow through on the contract. We would have preferred rebar over the cheape... read more

Business response:

The customer is correct. We proposed adding rebar to the concrete. We unfortunately left it out and I offered and did reimburse customer for cost. Unfortunately we do not offer warranty on concrete work. The cracking taking place in the concrete is where it is supposed to be. We set our joints close together so when it does crack it cracks in expansion joints. We know it will crack it's just a matter of time in our area, that's why it is never guaranteed. Rebar placed in a concrete patio or deck is so there are no uneven are... read more

I hired this company to build an outdoor kitchen last year. 20k investment that was a horrible experience. A 3 week build time turned out to be an entire summer. Recently we had the countertops fall. One piece fell and another piece about to fall from lack of support. Called them to warrant the work(less than a year from completion). Initially that seemed to be not a problem. Now half fixed, the owner says he is not responsible wants to send me a bill after being paid in full. He insist that we somehow caused the counter top... read more

Bill and team did some landscaping work on my yard. It reminded me of 40 year old virgin....he cleared all of his appointments and made my landscaping look photo sharp. Really appreciate the service!

I contacted Growth Spurts regarding a pool renovation. The owner came to my home to do an evaluation and was very knowledgeable and nice. He said all of the right things and I felt very confident that I could trust him and that he would do a good job. I was told I would have an estimate the next week. That was over 5 weeks ago and I can’t even get a response from him now when I text. If he didn’t want the job, he could have just said that and I wouldn’t be leaving a negative review (which I never do). It’s very frustrating t... read more

Was definitely great when I initially put my pool in . The communication this last month on some repair work was very bad! I am usually a fair guy and don’t get rattled , but I do feel like I was jerked around with the prices ( in which was never agreed on) and the repair of the pump and when discussing, no one seemed to care about their miscommunication with me as customer ! Just felt swept under the rug! Not a good feeling for someone that has spent a ton on money getting it installed initially.
