As a local Needham parent to two kids on the spectrum, I would not recommend Alyssa to any families seeking a thoughtful and thorough evaluation for a young child. After Alyssa does her evaluation, she does a poor job analyze her own data. As such, it was detrimental to the development of our child to get him the resources needed to support him. I would highly recommend finding another provider that could do a better and more thorough job to help support your child.

We used Alyssa as a 3rd party psychologist. Her evaluation was not done at a sufficient and professional level. Here are some examples: 1) She did not do her due diligence by reaching out to private providers that we had provided. As such, she did not have information that would be important such as the VB-MAPP assessment that was done by the BCBA as part of ABA therapy.
