Big Thanks to the group meetings at Grow SA, I was really struggling to find a place where I could feel comfortable sharing what I was going through and was surprised these guys were here. The group has been so supportive and helped me articulate what I could work on and change bit by bit. So often I've gone into a place and 'dumped' everything and never go back. I love my little weekly group.

I have found GROW SA to be a very helpful and well run community of people. Attendees have a variety of challenges and are supportive of each other. I attend to help me with the grief process (after losing my husband) and have found it beneficial.

Grow has saved my life and it welcomes everyone. I completely trust them even though I have PTSD. They are the only self help group that I can fully trust. I cant thank you all enough for your absolute honesty.

As a taxpayer funded NGO Grow SA's main focus is keeping the gravy train going, rather than helping people. The management structure is unnecessary for the functioning of Grow groups, and Grow for its first several decades was a grass-roots movement organised by volunteers. It is really intended for people with conditions that require frequent hospitalisation, people who are outside of that category might not find Grow groups to be as helpful.
