I purchased a 2003 Toyota Landcruiser from Grow Automotive in February of 2020. They provided me a list of items that were replaced by their "Toyota Specialist" before they sold the car. They replaced the valve cover gasket in January of 2020 with 217k miles on the vehicle. The vehicle now has almost 222k miles on it and is needing a new valve cover gasket. Where should we be drawing the line as to what we will repair on a 18 year old vehicle 8 months after sale, 5 months and 2000 miles out of a limited warranty that would not have covered the repair regardless. If he was willing to come to our shop and it was within the 3 month 3000 mile warranty we probably would have worked with him on the cost of the repair but it wasn’t a covered repair in the first place. they throw good sales pitches but have no documentation to prove the work was put into the car its not about what you can say that matters its what you have on file/record that show proof something was done
They are a great dealer. Honest & no pressure sales people. A nice place for a clean preowned vehicle!
Grow can be counted on. They helped my daughter with a flaky moonroof on a car she bought from them over a year earlier. Not many car dealers would do something like that.
